UnitedLex Receives ISO 27001 Certification
Overland Park, KS (January 18, 2010) - UnitedLex, a global full service provider of technology powered legal and business solutions, has announced it has received ISO 27001 certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The certification is an internationally recognized standard in which organizations certify their Information Security Management Systems. The ISO 27001 certification covers the frameworks to design, implement, manage, maintain and enforce information security processes and controls and extends to UnitedLex’s global operations.
The designation applies to UnitedLex’s full range of services, from contact management to litigation support. The ISO 27001:2005 standard, internationally recognized as the definitive best practice on information management security, incorporates development, implementation and maintenance of stringent privacy, confidentiality and IT/infrastructure controls.
