UnitedLex’s Loan Trade Settlement Services group, LexLoan, provides flexible solutions for sell-side and buy-side clients in the leveraged loan market. Our offering affords clients customized solutions spanning the gamut from as-needed to total settlement outsourcing. We offer unparalleled flexibility and contract capacity to respond nimbly to changing market conditions, serving a client base that ranges from startup hedge funds to high volume traders.

Loan Trades

Our footprint in this area is large and broad. Each year we settle more than 100,000 loan trades, with an aggregate value in excess of $115 billion.

The scope of our capability is also broad. We settle First and Second Lien Bank Loans, Total Return Swaps, Trade Claims and Private Equity trades. Execution of this service involves the agreement preparation, distressed and private equity document generation and negotiation, regulatory compliance review and database management of more than 305,000 documents annually. Our capability also includes experience in LSTA and LMA documents, par and distressed, primary/new issue and secondary trading.

The legislation and governance applicable to our support includes: Dodd Frank, The Securities Act of 1933, The Exchange Act of 1934, Basel III and the rules and regulations of the Federal Reserve Bank.  All LexLoan settlement services are monitored under a client internal audit function and subject to semi-annual review.

We work with clients to ensure efficient and accurate trade closing. Our expertise includes:
